- [Instructor] All right, now let's dive in and take a look at some of the vintage compressor algorithms that we have available to us in this grand compressor plugin. Something I like about this is that it's all there. It's very easy to work with. So we've talked about platinum digital. Just real quick, Studio VCA is supposed to be like a focus light red, Studio FET's supposed to be like an 1176, Classic VCA is supposed to be like a DBX 160, Vintage VCA, an SSL bus compressor, Vintage FET would be like a vintage 1176 of some sort. And then vintage Opto would be like an LA-2A. Okay. So let's take a look around, now by and large the VCA compressors are better for things that need some sort of transient to get through. So for example, Studio VCA, I'm actually going to just grab and let's just drop it on the mix bus here, the stereo out.
