- [Voiceover] Welcome to Producing Electronic Music in Logic Pro. Logic is a powerful Digital Audio Workstation, or DAW, that allows you to easily record your ideas, arrange them, mix, remix, and turn them into great finished tracks. (hypnotic electronic dance music) In this course, I'll walk you through a bunch of techniques you can use to produce music in a variety of electronic styles and genres. I'll also cover some workflow techniques to keep your projects organized so you can focus on making music when you're inspired. We'll cover approaches for drum programming with Ultrabeat, show you how to create a wobble bass, we'll cover some sound design basics with Retro, we'll cover advanced sound design with Alchemy, I'll show you how to use creative MIDI effects, how to compose with automation. Finally, I'll show you how to configure settings in Logic to send MIDI note data and time code to your analog synths. Electronic music is a pretty broad term that can be used to refer to many sub genres. Even if you don't identify as an electronic musician, I encourage you to check out this course, so you can pick up new ideas to incorporate into your music.
