Working with selection-based processing

- If you've been using Logic Pro X for any amount of time, you've undoubtedly messed around with processing tracks with the awesome array of processing plugins available as real time inserts. I'm talking about things like this Channel EQ, but also down below it in all of the plugins, you have other amazing effects like delays, distortions, filters, modulation, anything that you can imagine comes in there as a plugin process you can do in Logic. One thing that you might have noticed is that when you apply a plugin to a track, everything in that track gets affected by that plugin. Now, if you were looking for a way to process only specific regions on a track while leaving other regions dry, that is also possible. It's called selection-based processing. So let's say, for example, I wanted to apply a processing effect on this oo's region, but not this one. But then I wanted to apply the same effect to the last one. I could hold down shift to select only these two regions and not the one…
