Another method for demonstrating connectivity is through the use of transparent links. Look at how diverse this group is. Each uses the same basic building blocks but each finds a dramatically different way to define their client. A consumer quickly understands that this approachable shape whether straight or curved, links together to demonstrate a process. Note that the transparency is created where the links come together and that this becomes a pivot point like an elbow or a joint. The client can define motion, flexibility and nimbleness.
