- Beating up art is a time-tested way to introduce human intervention in design. Despite the fact that there are enormous numbers of digital solutions for deteriorating art, it's critical to remember they're generally imitations of an actual destructive process. Aging, wrinkling, scarring and incidental wear all come about for a reason. And depicting the right degenerative process can help you sell your story.
