Multiviews: Made you look twice
Playing off of the classic conundrum of what do you see, a chalice or two faces, is a world of logo solutions. The optical illusion occurs when the viewer can't decide whether to focus on the field or the foreground. The standard response is to see the object as opposed to the faces, but once they appear, just try and make them recede again. I can assure you it's not going to happen. When do you imagine a perfect time is to bring this concept into play? Whenever your client's main field of trade is face-to-face conversation. I love the logo for Russell Public Relations because it makes it evident that communication is the key to their business. And though that's a PR firm, it could just as easily be an investment manager or marketing firm, attorney or counselor, doctors or advisors. But note that all of these solutions have found a unique way of defining the client's field with the creation of an object that assures communication between the two faces.
