- It's been quite a journey from the client's goals and our "world of" imagery through concepts, images, type, colors. But the final product looks as it should, effortless and correct, as though it's the only natural solution. Despite Bimbo, it's distinguished typeface, the logo and the business card were both loud. Red and black are powerful, aggressive colors. Overlapping the NF creates noisy odd shapes that serve no purpose except to weaken the logo. And the organizing effect of alignment, whether left, right, or centered, was absent. So, while Newburyport Framers do some of the most artistic framing you could imagine--beautiful, thoughtful, unique-- their visual material suggested the opposite. The makeover is simple. It's clear, it's consistent. It's built on a story. And it brings Newburyport Framers visual material up to the caliber of its art. Story is key.
