Try repeating elements

Try repeating elements
- Here's a quickie. You can make good logos out of repeating elements. You get the simplicity of one shape, but have the interest of a few of them. Here's a petal shape. Basically, a two-pointed shield with a bottom curved. We just fanned it out into a stylized fleur-de-lys. Easy to do, very pretty. Designer Amber Brown turned her "O" into a "Q" just by setting a 45 degree angle and repeating the circles then finished with a round corner square. Very simple. Those repeating circles are very easy for the eye to process. Designer Ryan Thompson made this "M" out of repeating lines. Even the famous Chase logo is made of a repeating shape. In every case, you have the visual interest of repetition, and the final shape is itself a basic shape.
