- Do you recall the name of the Giant's little sidekick on his commercials? Sprout, which is a perfect place to start since this is exactly where every plant does start. Seeds are only a dormant container with DNA instructions for what should happen when exposed to water. That germination process is really when a seed comes out of quiescence and springs to life. Can you imagine why this point in time captures the attention of designers? Again, this is a great analogy for the genesis of an idea or a solution. Seconds before, we have nothing, and now we have life. It's the spark of an idea that turns into a brilliant, blazing fire. This group of logos have each visually captured that critical instance when thoughts become reality. Notice how there is that appearance of uncoiling, like there is a tree inside the seed, and it's springing out, like the entire thing had been tightly wound and inserted at some time in the past.
