6K Photo and 4K Photo modes

6K Photo and 4K Photo modes

- 6K and 4K Photo Mode is an innovative way to shoot at extremely high frame rate, up to 30 or even 60 frames per second, on your GH5. So what is the difference between 6K Photo and regular Photo? Well, quite a few things actually. In regular Photo mode, first of all, you can shoot RAW, or RAW plus JPEG, which in 6K Photo Mode, you are effectively just shooting JPEG, and we'll come back to that in a moment. In regular mode, you can shoot up to nine frames per second with continuous autofocus, or 12 frames per second with manual focus. In 6K Photo Mode, you can shoot up to 30 frames per second with full continuous autofocus, and in 4K Photo Mode, all the way up to 60 frames per second. So those are some pretty significant differences. So what's actually happening inside the camera?
