- The custom modes on your GH5, that's the C1 through C3 that you see on the mode dial. Allow you to save basically everything the camera can change and control into a single memory slot. This allows you to set up a variety of custom memory functions for things like, shooting, I don't know, black and white cinema or shooting fast action photography, or shooting portraits. Whatever series of changes you might want to make to the camera to get into a specific shooting environment or shooting style. You can save to one of these custom functions. This allows you to not have to fiddle around with the camera, making a bunch of changes internally on the camera every time you go from one style of shooting to another.
