Customizing AF for still photography

- When shooting continuous autofocus for still photography on the GH5, there are a variety of settings that you can customize if you want to, to enhance or change how the autofocus behaves. Now this is entirely up to you, and you don't have to do this, but by going into these modes you may find that you can get better autofocus performance depending on what you're shooting. So to get to these modes, we go into the menu, and starting at the top menu, under the camera icon, this is, after all, a still-shooting mode, not video, so in the still-shooting mode, we jump over to AF Custom Settings Photo, and you'll see that we have four preset sets. There's 1, 2, 3, and 4. You'll notice at the bottom of the set it explains what that is for. This one, it says Versatile and basic setting which tells us that, it's, well pretty much a versatile and basic setting. This is where you're going to want to leave the camera most of the time.
