Customizing AF for video
- This video is a little controversial. You see, I want to talk about the video auto-focus settings on the GH5, but as of the time of this recording there's been a lot of drama, some of it my fault perhaps, around the auto-focus on this camera. Now, there are, just like in the photo mode, a variety of customizations that you can do to the auto-focus. The thing is that they don't always behave exactly the way that you may want them to. Turns out that Panasonic has come out and said, well maybe things aren't as good as they could have been and we are committed, we being Panasonic, committed to improving it. At this point they made a recommendation on how to best set the auto-focus for video. I'm going to show you the functions that are in here, the controls that you can make, and explain a little bit about how they're supposed to work.
