Focus transitions

- You've undoubtedly seen focus racks or focus transitions in video shots before. This is where the focus transitions from one subject to another. It might be a person in the foreground to a person in the background, it might be from a house to the mountains in the background, whatever it might be. The point is that the focus in the scene changes from one subject to another. And when done well, it looks very, very clean. When not done well, well, it doesn't look so great. With the GH5, you can do this manually simply by recording video and then racking the focus by hand and trying to get it really smooth and consistent and more importantly trying to hit your exact focus point and not overshooting it, or you can take advantage of the feature called Focus Transition that's built into the GH5 and let the camera do it for you.
