Grading V-Log L

We've been talking a lot about what v-log looks like but we haven't actually seen any of it yet. So in this video I'm going to take you through the process of grading a shot that was shot in v-log using the GH5 and the Ninja Inferno which was shot in an extremely high dynamic ranged scene shot in v-log in 4K 60p 10-bit 422 ProRes again using the inferno. Now I've brought this shot into my mac and I've got it right now in Final Cut and in DaVinci Resolve. Before I actually show you how to grade it though I want to show you the same shot, shot in the natural profile and show you just what you can't do when your not shooting in v-log. Then we'll take a look at the shot in v-log. Take a look at some basic grading on that in light application and then we are going to switch over to DaVinci Resolve.
