ISO

- The ISO settings on the GH5 are pretty straightforward, but I thought we'd go through it quickly just to make sure you know where everything is. Now first of all, you'll find the ISO settings at the top of the camera. There's a button that says ISO on it. Press that, and that gives you a menu where you can choose any manual setting from the lowest setting of L100, that's a low 100 ISO setting, all the way to a maximum of 25,600. Now that 25,600 is only available in the still photo mode. When you go to video mode, it drops down to half of that, to 12,800, so that becomes your maximum ISO in video. When you're shooting in stills, if you're in manual ISO, then obviously, you just set it wherever you want, wherever you need to for your scene. But quite often we like to work in auto ISO mode, but sometimes you don't want the auto ISO to go too high or even possibly go too low.
