Programming the Fn buttons

- By far the quickest way to access any command on the camera, is to program that command into one of the customizable Function buttons. The Function buttons are all over the body. You'll find them on the back and on the front and on the top, and each one of them can be reprogrammed to do whatever you like. They all have default positions, but odds are, as you get to know your camera, you're going to want to change some of them to do the things that you want them to do. So first let's talk about how to reprogram them. The easiest way is to simply press and hold on the Fn button for two seconds to bring up the Custom Fn menu. For example, let's say that I want to reprogram Fn2. If I press and hold that, for two seconds, it brings up the Button Set commands. And I can go through here and choose any of these commands. 16 pages of commands to choose from, that I want to assign to that button.
