Resolution, frame rate, and bitrate

- Deciding which frame size, frame rate, and bit depth to recording is a really important decision to make, when you're shooting with the GH5. We're going to go through the options that we have, and explain what each of the options means so that you can make the best decision for you. To change it, open the menu, go to the motion picture menu, and then go to Record Quality. We're going to start at the bottom of the menu at the lowest quality possible that the camera will shoot, and we'll work our way up from there. Now before we even get into that, one thing that's important to understand is that the GH5 does have a frequency setting which we're going to be looking at in another video in this chapter. The frequency setting lies in a change between NTSC, PAL, and Cinema Mode. So some of the frame rates that we're going to see here while that the camera's set to NTSC will be different if you're in a different frequency, but don't worry about it.
