- One of the other really cool things you can do with your GH5 once it's paired to your smartphone is transfer the images wirelessly so that you can immediately share them on social media, put them in email, or do whatever you'd like. The way that you do that is by simply establishing a wifi connection and transferring the files over. It's pretty straightforward. Now if you're coming out of the previous video and you've just been shooting with the app, you don't need to do anything else. The connection is already made. Simply tap on the playback button and you'll be brought into the Playback view. Well let's assume that that's not what you've done. Let's assume you're out shooting and at some point you decide okay now I want to go ahead and transfer some pictures. As we've looked at previously, you can go into the wifi menu on the camera, initiate wifi there, go to your smartphone and find that wifi connection.
