V-Log L explained

- This chapter is all about V-Log. V-Log is a paid optional upgrade for your GH5, that allows it to shoot in a profile that is totally unique and different from the rest of the profiles that are built in. Now by profiles, I'm talking about the natural or vivid, or portrait settings that you find in the camera. Once you've added V-Log, or technically the whole name is V-Log L, you'll see that as an option in there along with natural, vivid, and the other ones. Now to understand what V-Log is, we kind of have to start with what it isn't. But before we can get into that, we have to start with what we're trying to achieve. What is the goal, the purpose of shooting in V-Log? Well the whole idea behind shooting V-Log is that we can capture more dynamic range than we can when we're not shooting V-Log.
