Adjustment layers and procedural layers

- Since we're always changing our minds on how something should eventually look, MARI always has our back. With adjustment layers and procedurals, we can keep our look dynamic. These also allow us to create different variations of textures to use when we have the same assest, but we want to vary the look over the scene. I can give you an example of that here. If we go up to our diffuse channel, let's go ahead and create a new layer. It's basically going to be an empty layer. The base is just sort of the gray diffuse that we created earlier. We can go over here to our color picker, and pick something. Maybe just doing a test on the stone, creating sort of like a blueish hue. Just paint some nonsense. Just something to get our point across. We can just call this layer "Stone Color." For sake of organization, we'll go ahead and create a folder. MARI calls them groups. It's this icon here. I can double click that, and just call it "Stone." If we bring our "Stone Color" layer up here, and…
