Area lights
- [Instructor] So now that I've set up my viewport and my UI let's take a look at the lighting. And currently we're just using the default lighting which looks quite harsh and unpleasant because it uses a single directional light. So the first thing I'm going to do is to simply delete this light and I'm going to use an area light instead. Area lights are large square lights that cast nice soft shadows and have much nicer reflections than the direct light. So I head over to the item list and I'm going to click on add item. And in the light section, I'm going to look for area light and I'm going to double click on that to add it into my scene. Now, as you can see, it appears at the world center so I'm going to need to move it.
