Assigning commands

- This video is going to demonstrate how to assign commands to control locators so that when you select a locator in the viewport, the appropriate command is automatically triggered. It's actually a very simple process. All you need to do is to select a locator and then in the properties panel, go to the assembly tab. And here you'll see there's a command field into which you can enter any main command. However, for the most commonly used ones, if you click on this little arrow on the right, you'll see there's a list of handy presets. So what I'm going to select is the move tool. And now, whenever I select this locator in the viewport, the move tool will automatically be activated. And this makes the rig much more intuitive to use because any user who clicks on this control locator will automatically realize that they need to use the transform tool to move the hierarchy around.
