Backdrop items

- [Instructor] This video is going to be an introduction to backdrop items in MODO. Backdrop items allow you to bring in images to use as references in your viewport. And you can use them to either display photographic images or blueprint drawings, which can be really useful when you need to make a really precise model based on a reference image. To add a backdrop item to your scene, in the item list go to Add Item, and under the Main Items category, you'll see this Backdrop Item entry. Just double click to add one to your scene. And once it's been added into your item list you need to decide which way you want your backdrop item to face. In this case, I want it to face to the left, so I'm going to change the projection type from Front to Left. Next, I need to assign an image to my backdrop, so I can do this in the item properties. I'm going to click on Image, and I'm going to add this image that I've already imported into the scene. Now currently, my backdrop item is way too large…
