Bump map

- In this video, I'm going to add a bump map to the two materials that I've already created. A bump map is a texture that creates some surface deformation on the material. Gives it a sense of tactile texture if you like. So I'm going to select these sole side material and then I'm going to go to add layer, textures, and I'm going to look for the procedural cell texture and that's going to add it inside that material. Then I'll need to change the effect from diffuse color to bump. So I'm just going to resize this effect column so you can see more clearly what I'm doing. I'm going to right click on where it says diffuse color that opens a menu. I'm going to go down to surface shading and I'm going to select bump. And that is going to assign that as a bump map rather than a diffuse color map. Now, procedural textures, such as this one don't show up in OpenGL, So I'm going to need to use Ray GL to preview my texture. So…
