Creating the basic lace holder

- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to create the lace holders. Go on the side of the shoe. They start at the top of these side panels, go through the sleeve and then join up with the laces. So I've created a new empty mesh item which I've called lace holders and I've colored it yellow. I'll switch into polygon mode. And in the topology tool section, I'm going to activate the pencil, and I'm going to zoom in a little bit closer on the mesh. I'll hide the side panels in the item list, just so they don't interfere with my background constraint. And making sure that make quads is active, I'm going to start drawing a strip of quad polygons conforming to the projected texture on my background mesh. And once I'm happy with my new topology, I'll hit q to drop the pencil. And in order to see what's going on a bit more clearly, I'm good to switch into my ghosted viewport preset. And I'll quickly just activate the topology tweak…
