- So now that I've created all of the iglets I now need to connect to all of the lace holders to each of the iglets. And to do this, I'm going to need to convert this procedural lace holder mesh to a regular mesh so that I can do some destructive editing. So with that mesh selected, I'm going to head over to the item list, and I'm going to right click on the mesh. And in the resulting menu I'm going to look for freeze mesh operations and I'm going to select the duplicate and freeze option. And that means that I can always come back to the procedural mesh if I need to. And having done that to the procedural mesh is no longer visible in the item list. And if I expand the item list you'll see that right at the bottom, I have a new regular mesh which is called lace holders bell 2. I'm just going to quickly rename that to to just lace holders. I'm also going to drag it above the iglet and let's also change its editor…
