Creating a speaker 6: Lighting and materials
- Before working on our materials we're going to setup a quick studio environment for this scene. You'll need to locate the sweep.lxo file, which is included as part of the assets for this course. And import this into your scene. So in order to do this go to File, Import, locate sweep.lxo, Double Click and that should bring you to your Modo scene. Switch from perspective view to camera view. Select the Camera Menu Item list and then locate the focal length and change it from the default of 50 milometers to 90 milometers. With that done, let's use the view port controls to position your camera and compose your scene as you see fit. And next we'll switch to the Render Tab because it's much more suitable for doing this kind of work. In the Render Tab, your going to to find a couple of new interface elements you may not be familiar with.
