Duplicating the lace loops
- In this video I'm going to duplicate this grip detail and place it at the top of all of the remaining lace holders on the shoe. And once again I'm going to use the work pane to make this task easier. So I'm going to come up to the work pane button top toolbar here hold the alt key to reveal the options. Let's click on the button and then let's drag the pop over to pin it. Then I'm going to zoom in a little bit closer. I'm going to select the lace holders mesh. I'm going to switch into polygon mode and let's select these two polygons at the L key to select the rest of the loop that I click on this button to align the work pane to my selection and with that done I can go back into item mode and let's select grip mesh in the item list. And I'm going to create an instance of this mesh and that just means that any edits I make to the original would automatically be propagated to the duplicate. So let's right click on the mesh…
