Heel panel
- [instructor] In this video, I'm going to create the panel here at the rear of the shoe and I've created two new empty mesh items. The first one is called heel panel topology, and I've colored this one yellow and the other is called heel panel second and I've colored that blue. I'm in polygon mode and I've opened the topology Tools tab, and in order to see what I'm doing more clearly as I retopologize I'm going to change to my goes to retopology viewpoint preset. I'll activate the pencil, and then I'll zoom in on my mesh and I'll start by drawing a strip of quad polygons. Then I'll switch to the topology pencil and I'm just going to continue creating geometry, I'll speed up the video as I do this. And once that's complete I can hit Q to drop the topology pencil, then I'm going to hide the mesh that I've just created and I'm going to select the heel panel thickened mesh and open the mesh operator's panel.
