Access application preferences
- [Instructor] Almost every application that you'll run in macOS will have preferences. Now, this is different from system preferences, which are adjustments for the computer overall. Application preferences adjust how an individual application runs. You can see I have three applications running. To see an application's preferences, first make sure it's active. Then go to the menu with the name of that application and choose Preferences. When I open Safari Preferences, I get a bunch of adjustments I can make for how Safari works. And in this case, there are several tabs I can jump through for even more options. But that's how preferences look for this specific application. I'm going to close this and I'll switch over to the Dictionary application. Now I can see the menus up at the top for dictionary. I'll go into that first menu. I'll choose Preferences here, and now I have completely different adjustments I can make…
