- [Instructor] macOS comes with a web browser, which is called Safari. I have it here on the dock, so I'm going to launch it from there. And this is what you can use to view websites on the internet. We'll start with the address bar up at the top where you can type in the address for a webpage. Now, if your website address begins with www., you can actually skip that part. It's a nice little shortcut. You can go straight to the rest of the address. So I'll type in the address for a webpage, I'll hit the return key and it loads that page. Or if you don't know a specific webpage, you can do a search instead. So you can click on that field, you can hit the delete key to clear what's there and if you type something that does not match the format of a website address, maybe a single word, then hit the return key, it will do a search and give you lots of options.
