- [Instructor] The caching controls on macOs are located in System Preferences, Sharing, Content Caching. Within that interface, let's look at the simple controls that are available. You can choose to cache shared content which means all iOS updates, all macOs updates, all tvOS updates and any apps that are served up by any of the App Stores or any media content including movies, TV shows and music. Personal iCloud data should only be cached in a home or in a school using the shared iPad model. If doing this at a school with shared iPad, call your Apple SE for advice on architecture. This is very important. Enable only one type per server for best performance. Don't use All Content. If you press the Option key on your keyboard, and select Options, you'll notice it'll reveal the Advanced Options button.
