- [Instructor] In this video, we'll talk about connecting to the internet, which you need to browse the web, access email, buy new applications in the App Store, those sorts of things. And we're approaching this assuming you do have access to a network in your home or office or some other location and you just need to connect your Mac to it. So I'm currently not connected to the internet. You'll see if I open up Safari and use one of my bookmarks to go to a webpage, that page will not load because I do not have an internet connection. Now, most people will connect to their network using Wi-Fi which is a wireless connection. And you can do that in Control Center. So I'm going to click on the Control Center icon up near the top right and you'll see there's an option here for Wi-Fi. If we click on that, we see a list of available Wi-Fi networks in range of my computer. So of course you need to know the name of the network…
