- [Instructor] As you start thinking about setting up your own file organization in Finder, you will need to be able to create new folders and rename files and folders. I want to start in my documents folder. I'll just use the shortcut on the left. Here in my documents folder I have a folder called photos, and inside of that are other folders full of pictures from places I've traveled. And I want to get this more organized. So to start, I want to make a new folder in this photos folder. To do that. I'll go to the File menu and choose New Folder. So you can see it makes the new folder here. And you can see when it does that, the name of it is highlighted in blue. So at this point I could type in a new name, hit the Return key, and now that name is set. Okay, let's make another folder, but for this, I want you to see that it works a little bit differently in some of the other views. Currently I'm in the icon view.…
