Set up multiple user accounts
- [Instructor] When you turn on your Mac, you start at the sign in screen where you need to type in your password which signs you into your user account. Your user account is where all of your files and configurations are stored. If you share a computer with another person, you may want to set up multiple user accounts. When each person signs into their own account, they will see a separate setup and configuration, different preferences, different documents, different photos and music libraries, and more. Let's start by going to System Preferences, and we'll go to the category labeled Users and Groups. Now, when you first set up your Mac, you will have one user account that's identified by the name and password you set when you set up your computer for the first time.
