Sidecar
- [Instructor] The new Sidecar feature allows you to create a adjacent display for any Mac running Catalina that is compatible along with any iPad running iPadOS 13 or later that is also compatible. The compatibility lists are are available at apple.com. But let's take a look at how to enable this feature and what it looks like. You go to system preferences, and there's a new system preference called Sidecar. Click on it. And as long as the Apple ID in use on the Mac and the iPad are the same, and they're both on the same Wi-Fi network, both of those two things are critical, you should get a connect to option, and then this menu should light up for you. If yours is light gray, it's very likely that either the iPad or the Mac is not compatible, or you're on the wrong network. But if you're on the right network and all the stars align, you simply select iPad, it connects, et voila, you have a side-by-side, awesome…
