- [Instructor] Before you store and organize your own files, it's important to understand the folder structure that already exists in Mac OS, so you can work within that organization. I'm going to open up Finder and I want to select my main system drive. If you don't see that listed on the left, just make sure you refer back to the first video in this chapter. So this is the root level of my main storage drive, and it contains these four folders. Now on your drive, you might see more, but you should at least see these four folders, everything on your storage drive is inside of one of these folders. Now, the Library and System folders are really easy. Most users have no reason to ever open these folders and I include myself in this. Moving or deleting files in one of these folders can cause problems with your computer, so I stay out of them. Okay, so let's open up the Applications folder. And this is where all of the…
