Use the App Store to install and update applications

- [Instructor] The easiest way to install new applications on your Mac is to use the App Store that comes built into macOS. You can use the App Store to buy new applications but you can also find some free apps. If you have the icon for the App Store on the dock you can launch it from there. Or you can go to the main system menu and launch the App Store from there. Now first, before you can download any apps free or otherwise you need to sign into your Apple ID account. At the bottom left corner I see my name and that tells me that I am signed in. If you don't see your name, you'll see a button to sign in instead. Now, if you click on your name here, you'll see information about your account. If you do plan to buy apps that cost money you will need to link a credit card to your account. And you can do that by clicking this view information button. And that will take you to a screen where you can link your credit card…
