Use FaceTime for audio and video calls
- The FaceTime application is used for video and audio calls on a Mac, an iPhone or an iPad. Naturally, we're using the application on the Mac. You can do one on one calls and you can do group calls. Now, you will need a built in webcam and microphone or you can get an inexpensive USB webcam and just like with the messages application, you and any person you plan to talk to through FaceTime will need to be signed into an iCloud account. So, I'm going to launch FaceTime and at this point if you're not already signed in, you will be prompted to sign in. Then it will activate your camera and you can see what you look like here. So, to call somebody, I'll go to this field over here in the top left and I'll need to put in their iCloud account information, either a phone number or an email address associated with their iCloud account.
