Use Handoff to transfer tasks between an iPhone and a Mac

- [Instructor] Handoff is a feature that lets you start a task on one device and pick up right where you left off on another device. Starting on my iPhone, I'm going to open up Safari and browse to a webpage. Then let's say I want to switch over to my computer and continue reading this page from there. Here on my computer, you'll see that there is a new Safari icon on the dock near the right side, and it has a little iPhone logo on top of the Safari icon. This tells me that I have Safari open on my iPhone. And if you use an iPad, you'll see the same thing. So from here, I can click on that icon and it will load the same page that I was looking at on my iPhone. And this works in both directions. I'm going to quit Safari and let's just open up another application that supports Handoff. I'll go to Mail, I'll select an email message and I'll reply to it, and I'll start writing my reply.
