- [Instructor] One of the biggest mistakes you can make as an email marketer is continuing to have a one-way conversation. If you always send to your audience, but never ask them what they want, you'll never know what else you could do to keep them loyal customers. Surveys are a great way to quickly gauge your audience interests. You'll notice on the Two Trees website that they offer tours and events. Let's say that Two Trees has made friends with a new chef and they want to host cooking classes. This is an exciting partnership opportunity for Two Trees and for the chef. Sending a survey to our customers would be a great way to gauge interest. In the audience dashboard, you'll select the survey option. Now you can see, we don't have any surveys yet so let's make one.
