Creating basic web layouts

- [Instructor] Basic web layouts are a simple but robust way of publishing your maps to the web. Basic web layouts have very little customization available but some of them are effective. Let's make one now. So let's highlight web layouts and click new resource. In our 14 options here, I've unselected all the other types. We've got this one item called web layout version one. Don't worry, it'll prompt you to upgrade once we click it. So let's pick on web layout version one, and the very first thing it does is ask me, "Where's the map you're going to publish?" So I pick on maps and I'll pick on Nineninemo map. And let's hit upgrade. Great, we're up to the most recent version. So what you see here is a web layout where the first thing at the top, you can see what map we're publishing. So it's one map per layout. We can give it a title. So when you go to this URL it's what you see at the top of the screen in your browser.…
