Creating data connections with Maestro

- [Instructor] If you have files or databases that are visible to the server, such as SQL Server database or a folder of air photos, you can point MapGuide Server to those files. Data connections can point to existing files, but you need to ensure that your server can see those files. So let's look at an example here. I have an X drive, and it was mapped by my System Administrator. I was able to put files on my X drive. Now I can tell MapGuide to look at those files, but only if it can see them. The MapGuide Server may not be able to see X, it can only see its C and D drives, that's it, so when I upload it to the X drive, on my desktop, that may, actually, be some folder on the server somewhere, so you have to keep track of that.
