Creating polyline layers
- Creating layers of lines, such as roads and water pipes are critical to making great maps with map guide. You can style those lines with simple colors or use some advanced techniques to make the lines look very detailed. We can even make a road with a dash yellow paint line down the middle. Let's do that now with road center lines. Let's open up under three layers, the road center lines layer, double click. Oh, of course. Let's let it upgrade. There we go. And the next thing we're going to do is we're going to scroll down to the different lines. By default, it's just a black line. Let's hit preview and see what that looks like. Sure enough, it just looks like a regular black line. There's our roads. Okay, let's close that preview. Let's do something else. Let's decide to go into that line. We'll double click on the black line and we're going to use a composite line. We're going to use two lines on top of each…
