Creating searches in application definitions

- [Instructor] Searches are the quickest way to customize your application definition. You can search the contents of any layer and zoom to that feature. Let's do that now. So, you know we have a map attached to our current Nanaimo application. We've got an Nanaimo map, map definition. Let's just open that real quick. Inside there, we have a layer under planning called parcels. There it is, it's under Nanaimo 3 parcels. Let's open that, and I double clicked on it to open it. Now, inside of parcels, that's the name of the layer, I've got two columns, house number without an R and street name. I'm going to use those two columns inside my map, inside my application to zoom, and highlight that particular parcel. So let's close the parcels, let's close the map, and go back into the Nanaimo application. To do that, I have to create a search widget.
