Installing MapGuide Server and MapGuide Maestro
- [Instructor] Installing MapGuide Open Source requires a server or a computer that is exposed in the internet or, at the very least, the intranet. The software, being open source, is free to download, use and install, so let's download it now. First, we'll go to mapguide.osgeo.org. We'll look on the left-hand side and click on Download, we'll click on Current Stable Release, but we're going to scroll up a little bit and find the MapGuide 4 Preview. Just pick on that. And we're going to download the Windows Installer. There's other installers like an InstantSetup bundle and an Ubuntu Installer, that sort of thing, but since we're on Windows, we're going to just go ahead and click Download, and that will download the open-source file. So while that's downloading, let's go get the other product, Maestro. So we already have a server software downloading the MapGuide Open Source server, but we also need a client to talk…
