Labeling vector layers

- [Instructor] Labeling features on your layer can be done using a column in the dataset. For example, you can label road names based on the road name column in your SQL server database. Let's label the buildings. So double-click on the buildings layer to open it, upgrade, and the first thing I want to do is I want to limit what scale all the buildings come on because if I had preview right now, we get the buildings for the whole city. It's just all great adds too much data. So let's set it to something like 10,000. There we go, so now if I hit preview, that's a better scale to see all the buildings it's still kind of far out, but at least then you don't get as much data. So close the preview. Very good, and we'll save it. The first thing we want to do is change the label. So inside of the style area, we're going to pick on the label where it says non and double click.
