Publishing application definitions
- [Instructor] The URL for the application definitions can be quite long for the user. The best way to provide a map to the user is through a shorter URL. Using techniques such as HTML iframes, you can provide a user with a very easy URL rather than those big, long ones that you see in the applications. So let's open up the Nanaimo application, not the basic web layout, but the Nanaimo application, and we'll click Go. Oh, remember, we need to put the ampersand after the word slate in that case. And there's our URL. So that's a very nice-looking web page, but the URL is very, very long. So let's grab that big, long URL, and we're going to use that as a basis for our webpage. Now if you've done the previous exercise, we already have a page set up, but let's go back to that and have a look. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to open up Notepad as administrator. So I just went to my Start button and typed "notepad".…
