- [Instructor] Once you've made your basic web layout, or your fusion-based application definition, everyone on your network can see the MapGuide Server. You can publish to all your peers within that particular network. So whether they're using IE, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, doesn't matter, everyone who can see MapGuide Server can see your maps, sees the browser, but how do we publish to the internet so people outside of the network, outside your organization can see it? Well, one of the biggest barriers is the firewall. If you've installed MapGuide Server on a computer inside your network, people outside can't see it. The firewall stops the outside world from seeing your MapGuide Server when it's on the intranet. Now you could talk to your IT manager about exposing MapGuide Server by putting a hole through your firewall or putting MapGuide Server in a DMZ, or the demilitarized zone. Alternatively, you can…
